Policy Implementation

  1. Sustainable Development Policy: In order to fulfill sustainable development, promote economic, environmental and social progress, and achieve the goal of sustainable development, the Company has stipulated the " Sustainable Development Best Practice Principles " for appropriate compliance.
  2. Implementation unit:
    The implementation unit of the Company is Administration and Finance Department, which is responsible for coordinating the collection of issues related to environment, social and governance (ESG). Through meetings, it identifies major issues related to the operations of the Company and the concerns of stakeholders, formulates relevant management policies, reviews the implementation of various policies, and regularly reports the implementation results to the board of directors at least once a year. The company has reported to the board of directors on November 12, 2024, the board of directors supervised and reviewed whether the Company's implementation met the goals to ensure sustainable promotion and development.

ESG Issue Major Issue Management Policy and Implementation
Governance Information Security At the end of 2022, the company obtained the information security authentication as ISO 27001, which meets international standards. In order to ensure the implementation of ISO 27001 management mechanism, we carries out the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" (PDCA) operation and conducts internal self-audit and external impartial third-party audit at least once a year. The verification of the revised 2022 version is expected to be completed by October 31, 2025.
Innovation Management
  1. In order to protect the Company's freedom of operation, strengthen its leading position in the industry, and maintain advanced technological achievements, we strengthen the protection of intellectual property rights . As of the end of September 2023, the total number of global patent applications of the Company has accumulated to 910, and the number of global granted patents has accumulated to 510.
  2. To improve factory abnormality handling efficiency and enhance production quality, the FDAD program (Flow of Defected & Delayed) was implemented starting from April 22, 2024.
  3. To track the progress of each business activity and ensure effective utilization of internal resources, a new SOC (Sales Operation Code) management system has been introduced.
Compliance The "Regulatory Identification Management Procedure" stipulates that the legality of the company’s policies and regulations shall be evaluated every six months to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Environment Sustainable Supply Chain Management
  1. The company has established the "Supplier Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment", which supplier partners are required to read, understand, and sign for confirmation. In 2024, a total of 109 suppliers (those with annual delivery amounts exceeding NT$1 million) were required to comply with the "Supplier Corporate Social Responsibility Commitment", achieving a compliance rate of 91%. The commitment covers four key areas: integrity in business operations, labor rights and human rights, health and safety, and environmental protection. Through this initiative, the company seeks to foster mutual growth with supply chain partners, build sustainable partnerships, and jointly promote the implementation of corporate social responsibility.
  2. Regularly conduct supplier assessment every year. Total of 98 suppliers have been evaluated in 2024 (supplier with annual delivery amount reaches NTD 1 million), including 2 suppliers with grade A; 95 suppliers with grade B; 1 supplier with grade C and 0 supplier with grade D. Procurement is not allowed and quality improvement is requested for supplier with grade C.
Climate and Energy
  1. This year, employees have been assigned to participate in courses offered by a third-party consulting organization to strengthen personnel capabilities in advance. This initiative not only enhances the accuracy of internal audits but also facilitates alignment with future supplier guidance, audits, and verification processes.
  2. The replacement of all lighting equipment with LED fixtures on the 9th and 10th floors of the Zhonghe office is expected to reduce electricity consumption by 34.4%. A vendor quotation has already been obtained, and further evaluation will be conducted to determine whether to proceed with the replacement.
Social Talents Attraction and Retention
  1. Competitive salary (Target P75): Based on the latest 2023 salary data for full-time employees not in managerial positions, among 1,712 listed companies disclosed, the company ranks 356th in average salary and 374th in median salary.
  2. 2024 General Education Courses:
    1. Problem Identification and Analytical Problem-Solving course: 6 hours, 18 participants.   
    2. Workplace Sexual Harassment Prevention courses: For Supervisors – 0.75 hours, 63 participants, For Employees – 1 hour, 147 participants.
  3. Club activity subsidies are provided to encourage employees to participate in various groups. Through leisure activities, employees can enhance both physical and mental well-being while strengthening relationships. For example, Camping, Hiking, Badminton, and Golf.
  4. A fitness cnter is established along with two weekly aerobics classes, these initiatives not only promote employees’ physical and mental health but also help relieve work stress, foster stronger connections among colleagues, and improve concentration and work efficiency through regular exercise.

Occupational Safety and Health
  1. According to labor health protection rules, employers should carry out regular general health checkups for in-service workers within the prescribed time limit. We conduct health check management on in-service employees every year better than the labor health protection rules.
  2. In accordance with the Fire Protection Act and its implementation rules, conduct annual fire inspections of the office environment within the time limit for the affiliated offices and report to the fire brigade.
  3. In order to ensure the air quality of the working environment of our colleagues, we entrust a qualified working environment measurement manufacturer to conduct regular environmental air quality testing.
Social Participation
  1. Sponsored the "2024 Summer Activities for Kids" event organized by the Shulin District Sports Association to promote the children’s sports summer camp, pass on professional skills, continue the sports talent cultivation program, promote healthy sports and recreational activities, and strengthen young students’ physical fitness, professional skills, and teamwork.
  2. Sponsored the "2024 Sustainable Smart Innovation Hackathon Competition" jointly organized by eight universities in central Taiwan, where students presented creative proposals expected to optimize industry operation management, promote service innovation, and contribute to building a friendly and cooperative society.
  3. In August 2024, a donation was made to the "Foundation of Cardiovascular Medicine", which primarily supports cardiac medical research, funds specialized training and international exchanges for cardiovascular medical professionals, and advances Taiwan’s academic and technical capabilities in cardiac surgery, ultimately benefiting more patients in the future.
Cultural Development The company plans half-day tour in the second quarter of 2024 for each department to visit various art and cultural venues to promote domestic culture development and encourage employees innovation.
